Training: Abby is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her Master’s in Social Work through the Greater Rochester Collaborative Program offered by Nazareth & Brockport College in Rochester, NY. She completed her master’s-level internship at the Rochester Psychiatric Center. Abby has experience working as a psychotherapist in outpatient mental health clinics, crisis centers, and inpatient psychiatric settings.

Clinical Expertise: Abby’s experience working in diverse clinical settings has allowed her to support adults at varying stages of recovery. She has generalist training and experience using evidence-based models, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Wellness Self-Management, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She treats anxiety, trauma- and stressor-related disorders, personality disorders, bipolar disorder, and other psychotic disorders. Areas of clinical interest include improving emotional regulation, managing complex relationships and boundary setting, treating residual trauma symptoms with EMDR, and empowering individuals to build the life they want while living with painful experiences.
